KYRIAN FRIEDENBERG
At 25 years old, Kyrian Friedenberg is the Assistant Conductor of the Ensemble Intercontemporain at the Philharmonie de Paris through 2026. Winner of the Neeme Järvi Prize 2022 at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival he has been awarded a 2024 Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Award, and assisted Leonardo Alarcón in a 2023 production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, which he conducted from the harpsichord for a performance.
Kyrian has performed in over 300 Broadway Productions and, besides, performed the 4 Rachmaninov piano concerti in public – on the piano.
In 2025/2026 Kyrian will return to the Orchestre National d’Ile de France, make his debuts at the Opéra de Bordeaux and Opéra de Nice and will return to the Chicago Lyric Opera.
