SORA ELISABETH LEE, Conductor

Sora Elisabeth Lee is currently assistant to Klaus Mäkelä at the Orchestre de Paris. Alongside she is with the Orchestre National d’Ile de France at the Paris Philharmonie and will conduct the last performances of CARMEN at Opéra Comique in Paris. She is a regular with the Baseler Sinfonieorchester, the Orchestre Pasdeloup and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg.
In 2021/22 Sora stood out jumping in at the Opéra du Rhin conducting the Premiere of Braunfels DIE VÖGEL.
Performance Highlights to date include concerts with Les Siècles at Cité de la Musique in Paris, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris at Théâtre du Châtelet and concerts with the Orchestre national de Montpellier.
Sora is an accomplished pianiste and a sought after recital partner for singers. Trained at the Musikhochschule München and at the CNSDM Paris, she’s fluent in French and German.
